Cecily strong

Cecily Legler Strong has been a popular American actor, comedian and performer on the show 'Saturday Night Live. After taking an improv training class in the age of 9 and began her career as an actor. It was her initial intention to be an actor however, she realized her passion was comedy. After that, she shifted her focus to doing in improv. The first time she performed was aboard cruise ships along with members of Second City Conservatory and iO Chicago. Strong was a regular at events such as Chicago Sketch Fest and the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. She has also performed with Virgin Daiquiri, an all-female group - and New York Sketchfest. Her breakthrough came in 2012 when she debuted on "Saturday night Live" its 39th season as a cast member who was featured hosting on the Weekend Update segment first with Seth Meyers and later with Colin Jost. One of her most memorable moments was her performance as the role of "the girl that you'd rather not have started the conversation with at your gathering'. She first made an appearance as a movie actress in the same film, titled "How to Sponsor an Uterus". The actress has spoken out against women being treated in the world of showbiz as mere girlfriends and bikini models as opposed to strong protagonists in mainstream film. Cecily Cecily Tracy Tracy

Silk was born in Fredericton, New Brunswick, Canada. Ilkay Silk is the daughter of Peter Silk, who is an academic and Anna Silk, who's an actress, director as well as a producer and playwright.
