Ani Difranco

Angela Maria Ani DiFranco was born in Canada and is American. She has produced more than 20 studio albums. DiFranco has released over 20 albums. Ani DiFranco was the very first musician to start her own record label in the year 1990. Ani is widely considered as one of the feminist icons. DiFranco was born on September 23, 1970 in Buffalo, New York. She is the daughter of Elizabeth (Ross), who met Dante Americo DiFranco while studying at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Her mother and father were both of Montreal descent. 32 Flavors is a hit song composed that was performed and written by Ani DiFranco. The song is featured on her sixth studio album Not a Pretty Girl released in 1995. A version of the song is featured on the film Canadian romantic movie Better Than Chocolate. DiFranco issued an apology in 2013 after it was revealed that she had set up a three-day workshop at the Louisiana plantation. The workshop was cancelled, however many (including this piece) did not show any remorse. DiFranco issued an additional apology only a few days after. While she's best known for her role as Little Folksinger, her work includes a wide range of genres. Her collaborators include Pete Seeger and Chuck D to Prince. New Orleans is her home. Ani DiFranco is married to Kristen Ford. Within 14 years she was writing her songs. She performed them in cafes and bars throughout her teens. DiFranco began attending Buffalo State College when she was 16 years old. She was a graduate of in the Buffalo Academy for Visual and Performing Arts at that age. The new guitar Ani is a custom Alvarez made after several consultations with me as well as Chrys Johnson who was the rep for artists for Alvarez at the time. It's an System 600 guitar with solid wooden tops made of cedar, mahogany for the back and sides, and an ebony fretboard.
