Born on 18 Oct 1984 American alpine skier Lindsey Vonn who is now retired has won the title of four World Cup competitions and the downhill gold medal at the 2010 Winter Olympics. The second highest super score among skiers either female or male. She is among the best skiers around and is also the best loved American skier. Lindsey American World Cup alpine ski racer Caroline Vonn also known as Lindsey Vonn plays for the US Ski Team. She was the winner of the World Cup four times. She is a well-known athlete in American the history of sports. She is one of six women who have triumphed in all five alpine skiing World Cup events. In total, she's had 82 World Cup championships. The best skiers of the world, which includes the best American ski racers have made their announcements of retirement following the World Championship in Sweden. Four-time World Cup overall champion decided to quit after suffering from numerous ailments. Social media platforms were used to declare her retirement. My final race of my racing career will take place on the island of Re Sweden next week, in the Downhill World Championships as well as the SG World Championships.
